Lady Mustang Results
The Girls did an amazing job at Regionals in Yuma. They swam to 2nd place missing first by only 4 points (Yuma 449, North 445)! Good Job Ladies! Region Champs were: The Medley Relay (Annamarie Fuchs, Emma Ignaszewski, Shanna Rutemiller, Devon Lathrop) and Shanna Rutemiller (100 Butterfly).Medaling for 2nd, 3rd and 4th were Bianca Roman (200 & 500 Free), Lucy Miller (200IM & 100 Free), Annamarie Fuchs (50 Free & 100 Fly), Becca Gulick (200 Im & 100 Back), Emma Ignaszewski (50 Free & 100 Breast), Devon Lathrop (100 Fly), Shanna Rutemiller (100 Breast), 4 x 50 Free Relay (Meghan Marriott, Becca Gulick, Lucy Miller, Emma Ignaszewski), and the 4 x 100 Free Relay (Lucy, Devon, Shanna, Annamarie). There were also other outstanding swims by Emily Brown (200 & 500 Free), Samantha Enriquez (200 IM & 100 Back), Abby Ignaszeweski (500 Free & 100 Breast), Emily Loy (200 & 100 Free), and Aleksandra Shriber (100 Free & 100 Back). Great Job Ladies!

Mustang Boys Results
The Boys did an outstanding job at the regional meet in Yuma! The came in 2nd Place overall! Well done guys! ALL of the boys had outstanding swims. Region Champs were: The Medley Relay (Stephen Estes, Nathan Estes, Seve Swatzell and Beau Rawlins), Stephen Estes (200 IM and 100 Breast), and Seve Swatzell (50 Free and 100 Free). Medaling for 2nd, 3rd and 4th were Beau Rawlins (200 & 500 Free), Nathan Estes (100 Breast), Frank Flores (200 Free and 100 Butterfly), Issey Umeda (200 IM and 100 Back), 4 x 50 Free Relay (Issey Umeda, Michael Shufeldt, Nathan Estes, Frank Flores), and the 4 x 100 Free Relay (Beau Rawlins, Frank Flores, Stephen Estes, Seve Swatzell).There were also great swims by Ted Crowe (50 & 100 Free), Tyler Haddock (200 & 100 Free), Khris Taborda (500 Free & 100 Back), Cody Anaya (100 Free & 100 Back), and Daniel Dryden (500 Free & 100 Breast). Great Job Gentlemen!

North Swimmer Seve Swatzell was selected as co-Swimmer of the Year for the Gila Valley/Metro Region! Congratulations Seve!

Team Manager State results.

The boys team finished 9th with 96 points and the ladies finished 7th with 133 points. Both were higher than expected.

Stephen Estes had a start to finish dual with the Pinnacle swimmer and was just out touched swimming away as the State Runner-up… Stephen's prelim time of 58.90 is an All-American Consideration time. He was 0.19 off the Automatic All-American...and with that time, he will definitely be named an All-American! Awesome swim!!!!

Emma Ignaszewski came into the meet ranked 10th in the 100 Breaststroke and swam to an All-State finish to medal in 4th place with a time of 1:10.41. What an awesome effort!!!!!

The boys 200 Free relay was disqualified in the prelims… but it was a great swim. (Issey Umeda, Michael Shufeldt, Nathan, Frank)

PRACTICE STARTS: Monday August 11th

ATHLETIC PACKETS: Returning swimmers & divers MUST have packets turned in by Monday August 4th (first day of school). If NOT turned in, you will not be able to swim. This is a solid date and the athletic department will not procees packets after this date. The video can be watched later, but all other items MUST be in.

NEW SWIMMERS & DIVERS: You are not held to the August 4th date. If you can get it in by then, excellent. But you are given an extra week or two to get all you paper work in.
