Regionals 2008
Regionals is this weekend.... Friday Ocotober 31st and Saturday November 1

Results will be posted Sunday Afternoon.

Diving Results

Sarah Hedberg and Ashley Loy dove Monday at the regional diving meet. Sarah took 1st place and Ashley dove to 2nd place. Great job ladies!!! Good luck at state

Swimming information

Swimming regionals will be held Friday October 31st and Saturday November 1st at Basha High School. The pool next to Basha is called the Mesquite Groves Aquatic Center.

    STATE 2007!!!
    The boys team finished 9th with 96 points and the ladies finished 7th with 133 points. Both were higher than expected.

    Stephen Estes had a start to finish dual with the Pinnacle swimmer and was just out touched swimming away as the State Runner-up… Stephen's prelim time of 58.90 is an All-American Consideration time. He was 0.19 off the Automatic All-American...and with that time, he will definitely be named an All-American! Awesome swim!!!!

    Emma Ignaszewski came into the meet ranked 10th in the 100 Breaststroke and swam to an All-State finish to medal in 4th place with a time of 1:10.41. What an awesome effort!!!!!

    Emma Ignaszewski: 4th in 100 Breaststroke….. All-Stater :>) ask to see her medal

    Bianca Roman: 17th in 200 Free and 12th in 500 Free

    Annamarie Fuchs: 6th in 50 free and 7th in 100 Butterfly

    Shanna Rutemiller: 6th in 100 Butterfly and 10th in 100 Breaststroke

    Devon Lathrop: 24th in 100 Butterfly

    200 (4 x 50) Medley Relay: 5th Place (Annamarie, Emma, Shanna, Devon)

    200 (4 x 50) Free Relay: 10th Place (Meghan Marriott, Becca Gulick, Emma, Lucy Miller)

    400 (4 x 100) Free Relay: 6th Place (Lucy, Devon, Shanna, Annamarie)

    Stephen Estes: 2nd in 100 Breast and 5th in 200 Individual Medley All-Stater… ask to see his medal :>)

    Nathan Estes: 10th in 100 Breaststroke

    Seve Swatzell: 13th in 50 Free and 15th in 100 Free

    Beau Rawlins: 15th in 200 Free and 15th in 500 Free

    200 (4 x 50) Medley Relay: 7th Place (Stephen, Nathan, Seve, Beau)

    400 (4 x 100) Free Relay: 7th Place (Beau, Frank Flores, Stephen, Seve)

    The boys 200 Free relay was disqualified in the prelims… but it was a great swim. (Issey Umeda, Michael Shufeldt, Nathan, Frank)

    It is time for the Annual Pasta Party

    When: Thursday October 30th 6:00-9:00 pm

    Where: The Esti abode (see address and map link below)

    Why: Eat, bond, get ready for regionals, and just have a good time!!!!!

    The Esti live at 344 West Caminito Drive...... from the school, take 7th Ave, go past Northern (North of Northern), Turn right (East) on El Caminito (NOT EL CAMINO, these two streets are close to each other, so do not get confused), house will be on the left.

  • 2008 Team Retreat
    We are heading to FLAGSTAFF!!!!!! Yes, we will be heading up to Flagstaff to do a ropes course, have lunch, and then come back to the ropes course to work as a team and set goals for the season

    Here are the facts:

    Leave Saturday September 6th at 6:30 am (yes, it is early)

    9:00am Ropes cource at NAU

    12:00 noon lunch (student-athletes need money for this)

    1:00 back to the ropes course

    4:00 head home....back by 6:00pm.

    Everything is paid for except lunch. More info will be sent home on Wednesday!!!!!!!
